Tracey passed away on the 29 March 2016 at the age of 49. The youngest of 13 children born to Keith and Irene Wilson. Tracey has 4 children Alishia, Krystal, Steven and Jenna, and is grandmother to 6: Zacariah, Jordan, Avaleigh, Lily, Conor and Hope. Tracey is sadly missed every day!

Today we celebrate the 105th birthday of member Harry Dickson. Henry (Harry) Bowden Dickson was born at Brunswick on 6 March 1919.

Harry was a local, he owned the dairies in Hastings, Crib Point & Somers and in 1956 he was invited to join the Racing Club which he did along with his wife. They both dedicated countless hours to the club and selflessly gave their time as volunteers. Harry was made a life member in the early 1970`s as a fitting reward to his tremendous contribution to the club over many many years.

Brendan was a much-loved trainer here on the Mornington Peninsula who sadly passed away from cancer in August 2021. He trained many winners but had a particular fondness for picnic racing, bringing the family along and making a day of it.

Moved by the tragedy at Hillcrest Primary School we dedicate our first race to the children who died on Thursday 16^th December following the horrific jumping castle tragedy in Tasmania.

Our thoughts are with their families and loved ones, school mates and teachers, and wider school community as well as those emergency services who attended the scene as first responders.

Rod Geilman lives and breathes horse racing. He has been involved in racing since his first visit to a racecourse as a 1-year-old.
