At its August meeting the Committee endorsed a draft Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) the initial stages of which has been developed in conjunction with the Bunurong Land Council Aboriginal Corporation which is the recognized representative body for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples in the Balnarring area. The RAP was presented to the Annual Meeting on 17 October and calls for widespread consultation with Members and other Club stakeholders as well as Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Peoples organisations before it is settled and implemented. Members and those interested are invited to consider the draft RAP and forward any comments or suggestions you may have to se*******@ba*************.com before the end of December 2021.
