Packages and Admission

The Club offers marquee packages and roped off areas for sale.  Located with a prime view of the track; an ideal location to host that special event for clients or family and friends.

Marquee Sites

Each site is 6 metres wide and includes: table & chair hire, see packages below for further details on inclusions.

Each marquee is enclosed by a white picket privacy fence.

6m x 3m

Recommended to accommodate approx. 20-30 people

Includes:

  • 20 x white plastic chairs,
  • 2 x 1.5 round white plastic tables

Recommended to accommodate approx. 30-40 people

Includes:

  • 30 x white plastic chairs,
  • 3 x 1.5m round white plastic tables,
  • 1 x 1.8m white plastic trestle table/serving table,
  • 4 x white table cloths

Recommended to accommodate 40-50 people

Includes: 

  • 40 x white plastic chairs,

Roped Off Areas

Each site is 3 metres x 6 metres.

Patrons can bring their own marquee for use in a roped off area – maximum size allowed is 3 x 6 metres.

Marquees larger than 3 x 6 metres must be installed by a professional authorised provider.

To purchase sites larger than 3×6 metres you will need to book multiple sites (e.g. 6×6 = 2 sites, 9×6 = 3 sites, & 12×6 = 4 sites).

In order to accommodate demand and anticipated use Marquee Sites and Roped Off Areas may after booking, be reallocated at the discretion of the Club. All bookings are made subject to the Club Rules & Policies which may be inspected on this website and are non-refundable.

Picnic Tables

The tables come with umbrellas and are located in the exclusive Bendigo Bank Picnic Paddock with a maximum of 8 people per table.

Please note these are picnic style tables which can be arranged to accommodate larger groups through reserving adjacent tables. Tables are not able to be moved.

Note: Cost of picnic table and does not include general admission; general admission tickets can be purchased online or at the gate on race days.

Please note bucks & hens parties are not permitted in this area.

Admission

General Admission is $15 per head. Under 18 free. Concession is $12.

On Australia Day – Balnarring – Cup Day, General Admission is $20 per head. Under 18 free. Concession is $16.

Concession is claimed after paying full cost of admission and then attending at Secretary’s Office and obtaining discount on production of a valid concession card.

Tickets can be pre purchased through this website, the Country Racing Victoria website at https://country.racing.com/ or at the gate on race days.

Note: Tickets will be sent direct to your email address, you must be able to access these tickets to show to our gate staff.

LARGE & CORPORATE GROUPS

A day at the Balnarring races is an ideal social event for corporate or social groups. In a relaxed environment, the Balnarring Picnic Racing Club can provide for:

  • the entertaining of clients;
  • company social clubs;
  • staff Christmas parties; and
  • group social days.

Corporate race goers typically take the opportunity to enjoy the races from the comfort of a marquee. Booking a marquee site is now available online. Please note these are unpowered sites.  Patrons are to organise own catering BYO Alcohol is permitted – minimal glass please.

Patrons can organise their own marquee in roped off areas. Maximum size for BYO marquees is 6 metres by 3 metres. Additional charges apply for larger sites.  through the online booking process. Marquees are set up in the areas shown in the booking process.
